which is the best brand or brands of refined coconut oil to use I prefer organic. This is to make the butter. Thanks

Hi M.PAMM! In the US, I've only been able to find Spectrum Naturals and Cadia refined coconut oil. Luckily, they both are really good quality and I can't recommend one over the other.

Even the unrefined coconut oils seem to be pretty consistent by quality control stand points. I've tried about a dozen different brands over the years and I've never had one I didn't like. I wish I could say the same about cocoa butter. Lately I've been getting some really quirky batches online that have off flavors. This is causing me to go back to refined coconut oil due to the good consistency.
