The summer weather is upon us and it's all about iced coffee instead of regular coffee. This means that it's also time to start thinking seriously about dairy-free ice creams. What flavors are you absolutely bonkers about? I'm getting ready to try developing a white chocolate matcha green tea ice cream, chocolate brownie chunk and cheesecake ice cream.
Does anyone have any other ideas? I know you do! :P

Buccaneer BobOfflineWhen I was a kid in upstate NY we had a local dairy (Marble Farms) that made an ice cream called Peppermint Patty. It was pink, peppermint-flavored, and loaded with little bits of hard candy (kinda like tiny lollipops heads) of various colors. You know the iconic pink-frosted donut with with rainbow sprinkles on it (a.k.a. the Homer Simpson donut)? Well, Peppermint Patty was the ice cream equivalent of that! I think I always picked that flavor just because it was so pretty (but I also love peppermint). Anyhow, I would take a big lick of it and, after the ice cream mostly melted in my mouth, I'd crunch on the hard candy bits. I'd love to find a vegan version of that!
At the moment, I have in my freezer a pint of the Coconut Bliss brand Chocolate Peanut Butter "ice cream", which is pretty darn good! -

xanthiaOfflineIt has pieces of the cake and swirls of the sauce in a vanilla base. OMG, so good. Then again Sticky Toffee Pudding is my fave dessert. I have a few vegan recipes I found around the web, but I don't make it because I'll eat it all Maybe I need to invest in an ice cream attachment for my kitchenaid though
